Newcourt is a quiet family campsite.

 
Noise, music and drinking are not permitted after 10pm. People who cannot abide by this are not welcome.
The proprietors reserve the right to refuse admission and to remove people
from the site at their discretion if site rules are not complied with.
All anti-social behaviour is reported immediately to Dyfed-Powys Police
along with full campsite registration details.

Our aim is for everyone to enjoy what our campsite offers and to maintain our high standards.

 Many overnight touring campervans and other units using the campsite are totally self-contained.
For Health & Safety and access for emergency vehicles please leave a distance of 10 meters between units.

 

 

Please note

The site does not accept breeds/crossbreeds listed in the Dangerous Dogs Act: Pit Bull Terrier, Japanese Tosa, Dogo Argentino and Fila Brasileiro. Whilst on site, dogs must be kept on a lead and under control at all times.

    

Newcourt is used by those participating in Duke of Edinburgh's Award Scheme, 
 schools and other educational groups.
We welcome families, walkers and cyclists providing all visitors conform
to the strict standards of behaviour and safety appropriate to an educational site.

 



The site gates are closed at 10.00pm.

 

Serviced Portable Toilets may be on-site during busy periods.

Due to changes made by the Welsh Government, Newcourt Farm has a zero waste policy. All rubbish must be taken away by visitors

Croeso, Welcome to Newcourt Farm Campsite

In the 1950s Mills Brothers established Newcourt Farm as a Riding Centre, leading pony treks into the Black Mountains, and as a Camping Site for tents, caravans and motorhomes. We have a large camping area to cater for the development and wellbeing of children, Scouts, Girl Guides, Boys Brigade, Schools and other educational groups and for those participating in The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Scheme.
Walkers, cyclists and families are also welcome to enjoy what the Brecon Beacons has to offer.

We are a rural, basic farm campsite set within the 520 square miles of the Brecon Beacons National Park - Wales’ first European Geopark. The Brecon Beacons National Park has been designated an International Dark Sky Reserve - the first place in Wales to achieve this award and only the fifth in the world. Newcourt Farm Campsite offers the ideal base to explore this area of outstanding natural beauty, to embrace and enjoy the true taste of Wales. Truly the ‘Land of Plenty' and inspiration of poetry and song.

Newcourt Farm Campsite is idyllic for the holidaymaker wishing to get away from it all, enabling you the chance to unwind and relax. Sit back and take in the stunning panoramic views across the Wye Valley, listen to the buzzards calling overhead and enjoy beautiful sunsets. On a clear night above the Brecon Beacons, stargazers are able to see the Milky Way, as well as numerous major constellations, bright nebulas and even meteor showers, making us the perfect destination to visit to get a better view of the night sky. "Perfect location to ponder our place in the universe." Don't forget to bring binoculars or a telescope. Dog Walking - there is plenty of space within and around the campsite for dog walking. If we are not too busy, we have areas you can let your dog have a run off the lead.

For those looking for a more active holiday, the site is ideally suited for keen hill walkers, cyclists and mountain bikers. There are activity centres nearby for adventurous types wishing to take part in outdoor pursuits. We are able to accommodate supervised groups and schools, particularly those taking part in the Duke of Edinburgh Award scheme. The Black Mountains and miles of open countryside are easily accessible. There are many public footpaths to follow throughout the area. Horse riding, swimming, fishing, golf and gliding are all available close by.

Being within the Brecon Beacons National Park, the campsite is in a protected area where the aims of the Authority are to conserve and enhance the natural beauty, wildlife and cultural heritage of the area. Newcourt Farm is committed to this aim.
