The Hay Festival of Literature and the Arts, in early summer, attracts many visitors to the town.
Famous writers, politicians, poets, musicians and comedians provide endless entertainment during the 10-day festival.

Situated approx. 4 miles from the festival site Newcourt Farm Campsite is ideally located.

After a busy day at the festival come back to Newcourt and relax away from the crowds. Perhaps go for a walk across the fields. Enjoy the panoramic views across the valley and watch a beautiful sunset. Once night falls the Brecon Beacons National Park, with its International Dark Sky Reserve status, is the top destination in the UK to enjoy stargazing. On a clear night, you can see the Milky Way, as well as numerous major constellations, bright nebulas and even meteor showers.

Dog Walking - there is plenty of space within and around the campsite for dog walking. If we are not too busy, we have areas you can let your dog have a run off the lead.
